Wonderland Discovery - 3 Days Tour

This itinerary was arranged for travelers to experience more temples which was built in different era, in different styles and built of different material from grey sandstone, pink sand stone, laterite (Volcanic Stone), and brick. Beside the temples, you guys will see real local life of people of Strange World called Kompong Khleang which have resided long long time ago along the ancient river to Tonle Sap lake. Along the road and the river to the lake you will see beautiful view of farmland of rice, corn, mungbean and mangrove and then you will see a big community of stilted homes and floating houses.
PLEASE NOTE THAT: This package require three-days-pass for each person from 12 years old. The pass cover the admission fee to all the temples mention in the itinerary.

Day 1: Small circuit of wonderland where you will discover below temples and sites:  

A. South Gate of Angkor Thom
Angkor Thom mean "The Big Capital City" and South Gate is the main gate to go in to the capital city which you can see tug of war statues between 54 gods and 54 demons and gigantic faces look at the four direction at the top tower of the gate.

B. Bayon Temple
Bayon is the central temple of Angkor Thom. At Bayon we will see long bas-relief of Khmer soldiers’ procession and naval battle with Champa on the Tonle Sap Lake. And then go to the top level to feel pure mind of the King Jayavarman VII on gigantic smiling and charming faces.

C. Baphuon Temple and nearby temple & terraces
Mountain temple dedicate to Shiva and state temple of King Udayadityavarman II. The temple was just reopen in 2011 after a tough and long restoration. And then visit nearby temples and terrace including Royal Palace area and Phimeanakas temple, Elephant terrace and terrace of Leper King.

D. Ta Prohm Temple
Ta Prohm Temple (Tomb Raider temple), root entwined temple. Anaconda like roots entwined through roofs and walls of the temple. 

E. Lunch break in local restaurant at Srah Srang area.

F. Angkor Wat Temple
After lunch go on to the world largest religious building, Angkor Wat. It was inscribed in world heritage list by UNESCO in 1992 for Outstanding Universal Value. Not just Outstanding Universal Value, Angkor Wat was the heaven on earth of King Suriyavarman II and Hindu believers in 12th century.

Day 2: Grand Circuit and Banteay Srei of wonderland where you will discover below temples:

A. Banteay Samre Temple
Beanteay Samre mean citadel of Samre ethnic. It is the only temple that Naga was carved on laterite (Volcanic Stone) at the corner of the top wall.

B. Banteay Srei Temple
After watching roadside view from inside the car for 35 kilometers we will get to Banteay Srei. The best quality pink sandstone and the top delicate carving temple of the kingdom.

C. Lunch break in local restaurant along the way back from Banteay Srei temple

D. Neak Pean Temple
The entwined serpents temple in the ponds. The four connected ponds represent Water, Earth, Fire and wind. Each pond is connected to the central main pond by a stone conduit, presided over by one of four great animals, Elephant, Bull, Horse, and Lion corresponding to the north, east, south, and west quarter.

E. Preah Khan Temple
Preah Khan Temple, a temporary residence of the King Jayavarman VII and an ancient University during Angkor period. 
Day 3: Kompong Khleang and Beang Mealea of wonderland where you will discover below site and temple:

A. Kompong Khleang, Stilted and floating house community
A strange world of stilted homes and floating houses along the ancient river to Tonle Sap Lake. You will see beautiful view of farmland of rice, corn and mungbean and mangrove along the road to the community and along the river to the lake.

B. Lunch break in local restaurant along the way to Beng Mealea

C. Beng Mealea Temple
A jungle wrapped temple. Roots curtain naturally decorate the wall and window of the temple which was built since Mid-12th century. Worth visit for all, especially Historical and natural lover.
